Because Liberty Moon addresses topics that may include mental health, trauma, adversity, recovery, and personal experiences, users and contributors may voluntarily include personal or potentially sensitive information in communications, stories, creative works, or other Contributions. Please do not provide sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your interaction or submission.

The submission, ownership, licensing, publication, editorial treatment, and other terms applicable to Contributions are addressed in the Liberty Moon™ Terms and Conditions, Pack Rules, applicable submission guidelines, and any submission agreement presented at the time of submission.


Contributors should not include unnecessary personal or sensitive information in their Contributions or supporting materials.


Sensitive Information


We do not intentionally request or collect sensitive personal information through the ordinary use of our Services unless such information is reasonably necessary for a particular interaction and is collected or handled in accordance with applicable law.

* publishing or displaying accepted Contributions

To maintain archival and backup copies of Contributions.


We may process and retain submitted or published Contributions and related information for legitimate recordkeeping, archival, backup, technical recovery, restoration, migration, and republication purposes.


For example, we may retain copies that allow us to restore or republish previously published material following accidental deletion, corruption, data loss, service interruption, platform failure, migration, or similar technical circumstances.


Contributors remain responsible for retaining their own original and backup copies as further described in our Terms and applicable submission policies.


To document permissions, agreements, and consent.


We may process information such as submission records, dates and times, acknowledgments, consents, electronic signatures, and related records to document permissions granted to Liberty Moon, LLC, demonstrate acceptance of applicable terms or policies, administer our relationship with users or contributors, and maintain appropriate business records.


To process purchases, donations, advertising, sponsorships, or other transactions.


We may process information as reasonably necessary to facilitate or administer purchases, donations, advertising arrangements, sponsorships, partnerships, subscriptions, or other transactions or business relationships.

When you submit a Contribution or use the Liberty Moon™ Contributor Submission Portal, information associated with your submission may be processed through third-party services used to operate the submission, review, storage, communication, publication, or recordkeeping process.


Depending on the services used, this information may include:


* your name and contact information

* website or portfolio information

* submission type or category

* titles, descriptions, summaries, and related information

* uploaded Contributions and supporting files

* submission dates and times

* acknowledgments and consent records

* electronic signatures

* communications concerning the submission

* other information you voluntarily provide as part of the contributor process


Third-party providers may process or store this information as reasonably necessary to provide their services to Liberty Moon, LLC.


Use of a third-party service does not transfer ownership of a contributor’s original creative work to Liberty Moon, LLC. Ownership and licensing of Contributions are addressed separately in the Liberty Moon™ Terms and Conditions and applicable contributor agreements or submission guidelines.


Other Circumstances in Which Information May Be Shared


We may also share personal information in limited circumstances such as:


Business transfers. If Liberty Moon, LLC is involved in a merger, financing, asset sale, reorganization, acquisition, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred as reasonably necessary in connection with that process, subject to applicable law.


Affiliates and related operations. We may share information with affiliated or related operations under common ownership or control where reasonably necessary and consistent with this Privacy Notice.

Contributor Information and Submission Records


If you submit a Contribution to Liberty Moon, LLC, we may retain information associated with the submission for as long as reasonably necessary to review and administer the Contribution and maintain appropriate records concerning the contributor relationship.


This may include:


* contributor names and contact information

* website or portfolio information

* submission categories, titles, descriptions, and summaries

* submitted creative works and supporting files

* submission dates and times

* acknowledgments, consents, and electronic signatures

* editorial and publication records

* communications concerning acceptance, rejection, editing, publication, removal, or other handling of the Contribution


Certain records may be retained after a Contribution is rejected, removed from public display, or otherwise no longer actively used when reasonably necessary to document permissions, agreements, submission history, disputes, legal obligations, policy enforcement, or other legitimate business or recordkeeping purposes.


Published Contributions


Published Contributions and related publication records may be retained for as long as the Contribution remains published or as otherwise reasonably necessary for archival, administrative, historical, recordkeeping, technical, or legal purposes.


Contributors retain ownership of their original Contributions as described in the Liberty Moon™ Terms and Conditions.


Archival and Backup Copies


Liberty Moon, LLC may retain archival or backup copies of submitted or published Contributions and related information for legitimate recordkeeping, security, technical recovery, restoration, migration, and similar operational purposes.


Archival or backup copies may also be retained to restore or republish previously published material following accidental deletion, corruption, data loss, service interruption, platform failure, migration, or similar technical circumstances, as described in our Terms and applicable contributor policies.


Contributors are responsible for retaining their own original and backup copies of submitted work and should not rely on Liberty Moon, LLC as the sole or permanent storage location for their original materials.


Removal Requests and Retained Records


If a contributor requests and Liberty Moon, LLC approves removal of a published Contribution, removal from public display does not necessarily require immediate deletion of all administrative, archival, security, or backup copies.


Information may continue to be retained where reasonably necessary for legitimate recordkeeping, security, technical, contractual, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes, subject to applicable law.


Backup copies may remain within backup systems until they are overwritten, deleted, or otherwise removed through ordinary backup and retention processes.


Deletion, Anonymization, or Secure Retention


When personal information is no longer reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or another legitimate purpose permitted by applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.


Where immediate deletion is not reasonably feasible, such as when information is maintained within backup systems, archives, security records, or systems subject to technical limitations, we may securely retain the information and limit further processing until deletion, anonymization, or ordinary system removal becomes feasible.


Legal Requirements


We may retain information for a longer period where required or permitted by applicable law, regulation, legal process, contractual obligation, dispute, investigation, or other legitimate legal or business requirement.


Nothing in this Section requires Liberty Moon, LLC to retain information for longer than reasonably necessary or limits any privacy rights available under applicable law.
