Originally launched as a blog, Liberty Moon evolved into an online community mental health education center and broader mission-driven platform rooted in hope, education, advocacy, storytelling, and supportive public engagement.

FOUNDER STATEMENT

My name is Alantis Perkins, also known as Wolf Alantis Mores.

I live with type 2 developmental trauma, or in my case: Dissociative Identity Disorder, Complex PTSD with psychotic features, Major Depressive Disorder with anxious distress, Schizotypal Personality Disorder, and Autism.

Liberty Moon grew from my lived experience, my recovery journey, and my commitment to helping others find language, hope, education, and support. I am pursuing further growth in my career as a Mental Health Educator because I am deeply passionate about trauma recovery, mental health education, and long-term stability.

Liberty Moon exists because I wanted to build something that could help people feel less alone while creating a space for peer-informed education, storytelling, and meaningful community-centered work.

FULL DESCRIPTION

Liberty Moon, LLC is a Massachusetts-based mission-driven mental health EdTech and media company operating at the intersection of mental health education, media, community support, publishing, advocacy-minded storytelling, and long-term platform development.

Liberty Moon began in the early spring of 2021 as a blog and has grown into an online community mental health education center focused on mental health peer education. The platform is designed to support people of all ages and communities around the world — whether they themselves are going through something difficult or are trying to better understand and support someone else.

At its core, Liberty Moon is about helping people feel less alone, more informed, and more hopeful. It is built on the belief that while hopelessness can come easily, hope is work — and it is work best done together.

Liberty Moon is not a clinical practice and does not present itself as therapy, diagnosis, crisis care, or a substitute for licensed treatment. Instead, it functions as a mental health EdTech, education, media, and community platform grounded in peer-informed education, accessible language, storytelling, public engagement, and mission-driven growth.

MISSION

To provide accessible, human-centered mental health education, peer-informed understanding, and mission-driven media that help people navigating trauma, adversity, and mental health challenges feel more informed, more hopeful, and less alone.

VISION

Liberty Moon envisions a future where mental health education is more human, more accessible, more community-centered, and more connected to real lived experience. The long-term vision is to build a platform where education, story, creativity, advocacy, and supportive public engagement work together in service of healing-informed understanding and community impact.

Liberty Moon did not appear all at once. It emerged through earlier creative and public-facing drafts, including:

Those earlier projects helped shape the vision, but they leaned too heavily toward art and entertainment and not enough toward the deeper charity, activism, philanthropic, and educational mission I intended.

Once I recognized that imbalance, Liberty Moon was born as the more complete expression of what I was trying to build. Those earlier drafts were not failures — they became foundations. Today, many of those ideas live on as revamped sections or divisions within Liberty Moon.
