Before Liberty Moon

Before Liberty Moon existed, I was just someone trying to survive.

Trying to understand trauma.

Trying to understand my own mind.

Trying to figure out how to live with experiences that didn’t always make sense.

Like many people navigating mental health challenges, I spent years searching for answers, stability, and understanding.

Along the way, I realized something important.

There are millions of people walking through the same darkness — but many of them are walking through it alone.

That realization became the beginning of Liberty Moon.

Not as a company.

Not as a brand.

But as a mission.

A mission to create a place where knowledge, lived experience, and community could help people understand trauma, adversity, and mental health challenges — and hopefully find a path toward recovery and stability.

That mission eventually became Liberty Moon™. And this is the story of how it began.

A Founder’s Story

My name is Alantis Perkins but I’m known professionally Wolf Alantis Mores, known professionally. I’m the Founder & President of Liberty Moon™, LLC, a mission-driven mental health EdTech and media company based in Massachusetts.

Through Liberty Moon, I serve as the Lead Blogger and content curator, creating educational articles, media, and patient- and peer-informed resources that help people better understand and navigate trauma, adversity, dissociation, and mental health and life challenges.

Much of this work is shared through Mental Illness Recovery And Thrive News™, Liberty Moon’s blog and media platform where I focus on mental health peer education, patient education, and resources that help people move toward recovery and stability.

My Goals

My long-term goals are simple but meaningful.

I want to be a strong and helpful mental health educator, community leader, and family man. I truly hope to become a good father someday, and I want to continue helping people better understand mental health and find paths toward recovery and stability.

At the heart of everything I do is the belief that:

Knowledge, community, and lived experience can help people better understand and navigate mental health challenges.

My Mission

My mission is simple:

Follow the moonlight to your freedom™

I create educational resources with the goal of bringing hope to the hopeless, helping people understand their experiences and discover tools and knowledge that can support recovery.

You hopefully know me better now. So maybe you should also know who I’m doing this for.

I’m doing this for all the kids you’ve seen portrayed in films like Hardball, Dead Poets Society, Lean on Me, One Eight Seven, and Freedom Writers — the kids who just need someone to believe in them.

Kids need hope to survive.

Kids need hope to keep their souls alive.

Kids need hope to grow.

I’m doing this for troops who come home to misfortune and suicide.

I’m doing this for people brave enough to leave cults but who suddenly find themselves without the life skills needed to survive and thrive.

I’m doing this for people trapped in narcissistic abuse.

I’m doing this for people caught between political wars.

I’m doing this for everyone affected by cancer, including my parents who lost their battles.

I’m doing this for everyone who is homeless.

For everyone affected by autism who needs life skills and hope to survive and thrive.

For everyone with trauma histories.

For everyone affected by community struggles and adversity.

I’m doing this for my loved ones.

And I’m doing this for myself, because my heart is hungry for it — especially while I’m on a journey toward self-mastery.

I hope we as a community can stop the hate and stop the violence.

I hope we can learn to love, hope, cultivate compassion, and make positive connections with each other.

Life is too short to live any other way.

We need to prioritize giving hope to the hopeless so we can recover from mental illness and adversity together, as a community.

But either way:

I love you. I hope the best for you.

Or as I often say:

“I’m just a random guy online trying to help folks.”
